I am an Assistant Professor of Management at the HKUST Business School. I study various topics such as organizational learning, managerial cognition, strategic decision making, and organizational design. Throughout my research, I explore the processes by which organizational decision-makers learn from prior experience, develop a mental representation of their environment, and take strategic actions. To investigate these questions, my work employs a mix of research methods, including computational modeling, experiments, and big data analysis. My work has been published in several journals, such as Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Business Research. I received my Ph.D. in Management (with a concentration in Strategy) at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
